Severe weather limits Birding.

We are now in the fourth day of snow, well below freezing temperatures, and with the strong easterly wind, snowdrifts which has left many vehicles stranded.  A neighbour yesterday took 4.5 hours to travel just 9 miles.....I had a car like that once  😕.
Needless to say I haven't ventured out.  The weather has forced birds to the garden which are generally found in open country, such as Fieldfare.

This beautiful Fieldfare visited our garden throughout the day and fed upon a remaining few Rose hips.  With snowdrifts preventing travel again today it will be interesting what today brings.
