For my work break on 19th November I visited the beautiful small church in the village of Morley St Botolph near Wymondham. The dominant tree species in the churchyard is the Yew and it was here that good numbers of Thrushes were seen, the most numerous being
Fieldfare, with smaller numbers of
Redwings, two or three
Mistle Thrushes, and a few
Blackbirds, all were attracted to the berries of the Yew.
